UPDATE

Here is what is new in the last month & a half:

1. Travis took a new job with British Petroleum...BP
2. Little Grandma (Fredda Kenney) just passed away November 27, 2007
3. Landry & Jon came to visit!!! Wooo Hooo!!!
4. Colleen is still not crawling but can roll across the entire room quickly
5. I have made 4 blankets & 6 Advent calendars
6. I finished teaching my dance classes for this session
7. Montana totally refuses to sleep in her room
8. Colleen is too big in her winter coat and got a new car seat
9. Travis turned 30 years old!
10. I leave Dec. 13 to head down to Mesa for a month

Thanksgiving in Victoria

We drove to Victoria on wednesday and spent the long weekend with Trav's parents! We had a great time! We did lots of new fun stuff: visit the butterfly garden, swim at the commonwealth pool, visiting the petting farm, feed animals at Beacon Hill park & pick some pumpkins! We had so much fun with Grandma & Grandpa...they spoiled our girls with love, attention, yummy treats & toys! You can't get much better than that!

Montana also loved Grandma's stamps...which she chose to ingest after nicely playing with it for two days...oh, well...the blue eventually came off!!

Ode to Colleen

I must say that my little one does not have as many pictures taken of her...so here is a post of just her! Colleen is such a sweetheart! She is soooo patient with us, she is always smiling & loves to talk to us! Her hair is just funny, her eyes are so attentive & her little hands are always trying to touch my face. She is truly an angel sent from heaven.

A Very Busy Friday

Travis has been out of town AGAIN...this week. Therefore, I decided that it was time to go on an adventure! Tanya & I drove our kids to the Drumheller Royal Tyrell Museum (or dinosaur museum) & had a very fun time. I must say that the drive was quite long but I had a great time visiting with Tanya! Montana & Marcus had lots of fun running around, watching the movies & computers, finding the "bones" although the roaring dinosaurs did spook them a bit!!
Then we went to Auntie Diana's at night. Darren & Niki got a little kitty named Bobbi, which Montana just adored! She chased her around, loved her & threw a string at her...she doesn't understand the 'dangle' concept!! Ha Ha. Thanks for letting us terrorize your cat!!!
One more day without Dad...what could tomorrow bring!!!????

EARRINGS!!!!

Montana decided that she would like to get her ears pierced...so we did it!! She was so excited and marched into Claire's and asked the girls,"will you pierce my ears!" The workers just melted and got everything ready so fast! Montana picked the largest diamond earrings, we instead got the smallest ones which look adorable. Montana sat so still and waited as they counted 1-2-3 punch!!! She had been smiling so big then looked shocked, then cried!! I felt bad, yet had to not try to laugh...she was devastated that she got hurt. She quickly got over the pain, once she was handed a green lollipop and hasn't stopped showing off her earrings!

Flathead Lake with the Korella's

We have such a great time every year with the Korella's. This is the only time of the year that we all get together & have two weeks of uniterrupted fun! We played hard on the lake everyday, went to the movies (Harry Potter & Hairspray), had fun shopping, eating at Richwein's & best of all visiting WalMart everyday!!! AAHH!! Seriously, we had an awesome 2 weeks. Uncle Blake & Aunt Kandyce pulled their Malibu up from Az. (THANK YOU) we had so much fun skiing, tubing & swimming around!! Uncle Blake also stayed for the whole two weeks, it was lots of fun having him around. Melissa & Brooke were great helpers with the babies! Sara & I definately appreciated their help! We want to thank Gramma & Grandpa for another successful Dipstick-athon & a very exciting "happy Un-birthday!". Thank you for all the fun gifts & the Harry Potter cake was great wasn't it!! hehe! (Sara, Chantel & I picked it out!)

Landry & Jon's Wedding Weekend

We had the most wonderful week at my parents home waiting for Landry & Jon to get married. We played very hard & relaxed lots...then prepared for the wedding! The wedding went perfectly from the actual wedding to the reception to the girls behavior!! It was so great to meet Jon's family. They are such great people, we definately know why Jon is such the great guy that he is! The girls absolutely loved spending the week with their new Aunt & Uncle. We just love Casey & Jon, they are such perfect additions to our family. We also love Mom & Dad's newly renovated home...it is soooo beautiful! Thanks for the awesome week! We love you all!!

Ohh, some of the pictures are of Landry's beautiful bridal shower that Fredda threw for her. It was incredible. Thanks Fredda, you are an amazing Aunt!

Day Trips & Flathead Lake with Gramma Korella

We have had a fun busy summer so far, visiting Auburn Bay Lake, the Zoo & Flathead Lake! These pictures span from June 20-30th. I can't believe how much I have been doing and it is just goin to get busier from here on in. We leave for Mesa tomorrow to celebrate Landry's wedding! I can't wait!

Sister Daloff's Farewell Party

We have been blessed to have some of the most wonderful sister missionaries in out ward! One of those missionaries was Sister Daloff, we decided that it would be nice to show her how much we appreciated her before she went home! I hope that she is doing well at home.

Montana just LOVES Colleen...sometimes I am a bit scared for her safety!!

Playgroup

Nancy, Dorienne & I switch off watching the girls every tuesday. We had so much fun hosting yesterday!! The girls got along very nicely, played hard, ate carrots, & used their imagination. The girls played in Montana's room & it was so cute! They were just giggling, found dresses for dress-up & hid from monkers(monsters!) Then outside they ran laps around the backyard, played in the sandbox & I taught them how to hopskotch(..or hoptoch)!!

Colleen's Blessing

Today, June 2, Travis blessed Colleen. What a nice blessing that he gave her, it included: that she would have charity, to take after her Aunt in love & service, gain a strong testimony of the gospel, know that she is loved by her sister & many more wonderful things!

Travis basically had the same group of priesthood holders in the circle as he had for Montana's blessing. The men were Robert Stone, Darren Stone, Jeff Hudson, James Glendinning, Tate Leavitt and Ben Vance. Thank you all!

Two Months Old

Colleen is getting so big, she is already over 10 lbs.! She is starting to smile at us and is responding to sounds!! I can't believe that two months has already passed.

Auburn Bay Lake

Today we were invited by some friends to play in the lake at Auburn Bay. I unfortunately pulled out my camera after everyone had almost left! But I got a few cute ones of Montana & her friend Cayla!

Travis & I have decided to build a new home in this community. The house is a bit bigger and backs onto a field! YEA! The lake is beautiful, with lots of fun parks, a splash park, sledding hill & picnic areas. I think it will be a fun change for us. This community is still in our ward boundaries & has lots of great members there already.

One busy day

We had a really fun really busy day today! It began playing at the park with our cousin Jack Kenney & Susan, then went to Val's house, then home to take naps as mom prepared for our Happy Unbirthday party!

Montana was so excited for her Unbirthday card & cupcakes! The best part was relighting the candle 20 times and singing "Happy Birthday to Guppy" over & over again!! Landry, Grandma & Grandpa Matheny even called to sing Happy Birthday to Tana. She smiled sooo big the whole time they sang to her! Thanks guys!!

Snorkling

Travis has been very determined to teach Montana how to snorkle. She is very brave & loves to make her daddy happy so...she learned it!! It is so funny to watch such a little one walk around the hot tub talking through her snorkle!! What a sweetheart! These are some underwater pictures that Travis took.

Sleeping Babes

The little girls are so cute during the day & even more beautiful at night!! Montana is so fun to check on after she falls asleep! Sometimes she is in completely new jammies, ballet skirts, just socks or in the middle of her animals!

I actually got both the girls (and myself!) ready for church, ONTIME! We even had time to take some pictures! Last sunday was the best sunday yet. I was patient, enjoyed the church lessons (good job Dorienne & Kym!) and I even made dinner! Wow, I am doing much better than before! :)

The Wedding Weekend

I got my camera back! Here are some pictures! Most of the pictures were taken at the Mount Timpinogas Temple, when Landry and Casey took out their endownments. It was so wonderful being at the Temple with almost my whole family!! I unfortunately only took pictures at the family dinner after Todd & Casey's sealing, then forgot to take any pictures at the reception! We were just having too much fun & it was hard chasing Montana around while carrying Colleen! The joys of two children! How do you all do it with more??? I am impressed, serioulsy!

The Month of May

I do not have any pictures as my camera is sitting at my Grandma's house!! Although, it is time that I get writing. The month began with Todd getting married to a wonderful girl!! Casey Lucero..now Matheny!! I have a great sister-in-law! She is so cute, fun, spunky & makes Todd smile ear to ear all day!! The wedding was in Salt Lake, the sealing was beautiful the reception was awsome! We drove down the wednesday night before, my WONDERFUL husband made it through the night and all of us girls arrived in Salt Lake well rested with a very tired Dad! We swam and napped till the rest of our family arrived at the hotel. Montana & Colleen were so wonderful! Very well behaved & ohh, soo cute in their wedding dresses! Auntie Kim was soooo great to watch my girls. Thanks Kimmy!! :)

Since we have gotten home we have: had a fun barbeque, gone swimming, contracted strep throat (AGAIN!!), played with Colleen, watched it rain for 3 days then snow the fourth day and visited the Zoo. We are just waiting for the summer to really start up here, then we will be great!

Details on Colleen

Hello everyone! I am starting to feel human again! I had Colleen Korella at 2:10 pm saturday, April 7,2007. She was born in the Foothills Hospital. I have to say that I had great nurses & doctors who did their very best to help me out...although, I just don't birth babies well!!! Yes, another tragic delivery! I tried to push for 2 hours, the doctor finally constented to let me have a C-section, then they took out the epidural feed and got Travis & I ready for the surgery. Meanwhile, another lady snuck in the OR before me and I had to endure another hour & a half of waiting with intense contractions & NO EPIDURAL!!!!!!!! When they finally inserted the line in my back I was wheeled into the operating room where they got me "prepped" & we waited for the doctors & anathesiologist(spelling??). I could feel the first couple pokes, so I received tons of other numbing medication & the doctor went to work butchering away!!!
Colleen was pulled out of me within 4 minutes, I was sewn up in another 10 minutes....11 days later I still feel like I was gutted open!!
So you must be wondering why I didn't name her Lydia Michelle. As the nurse showed her to me I just felt sick, she did not look like a Lydia! I proceeded to pass out for the next 4 hours and had many dreams about a baby Colleen. I have the most wonderful Aunt named Colleen and my best friend growing up in Boston was also named Colleen. Therefore, my potentially last daughter must be named after these two wonderful people. I love all three of my Colleens!!!
I am starting to feel better. I have to thank my wonderful in-laws, Lyn & Glenda, my mother and my wonderful friends in and out of our ward who have brought lovely meals, gifts, flowers & watching Montana. thank you. All of the support means so much to us.

Landry's Engaged!!

So for all of you who don't know details about my amazing family in the USA. I have 3 siblings Todd (23) who will be getting married to Casey on May 12, 2007 in the Salt Lake City Temple, he attends BYU; Landry (20) attends BYU and just got engaged yesterday!! She accepted Jon's wedding proposal, which was quite the gutsy proposal!!! He is one of Todd's roomates & a former mission companion; Kim (13) is a cute, little hottie who is full of many talents and keeps my parents hired as taxi drivers!!!
